Martus has released several updates in the past few weeks! Here are some highlights:
- The ReportBuilder Assistant allows you to use natural language to create custom reports! It is now available to all customers with a subscription that includes the Martus ReportBuilder. Click here for a video introduction to the ReportBuilder Assistant. The ReportBuilder Assistant is an AI-enabled tool, and your organization must provide consent before using it. An Admin user must navigate to the Support page to grant this consent before the ReportBuilder Assistant option is visible.
- Activity associated with Inactive Dimension Values and GL Acccounts. A new checkbox on the Dashboard>Financials allows you to include or exclude information associated with inactive dimension values and/or inactive GL accounts.
- Now, you can filter by Reporting Group on the Planner Summary. (Look for this feature coming soon to your Dashboard>Financials!) Reminder: Reporting Groups are included with the Plus and Premium subscriptions.
- There's a new roll-up option in the ReportBuilder to summarize activity by account type (i.e., Income and Expense). This is especially useful within the Gain/Loss row type. Check out the Release Notes and Change Log for 2025 to see an illustration of this new option in action.
- Martus has streamlined the process to create a new budget, making it easier than ever to create exactly the kind of new budget you need with just a couple of clicks -- whether that is an empty budget, a budget based on actuals, a budget based on a prior budget, or a budget based on a combination of budget and actuals. Plus a new option has been added to allow you to create a budget based on trailing 12 months of actuals.
