Martus Release Updates June 20, 2026

Martus has released some important updates in the past weeks! Here are some highlights:

• Now, you can schedule reports to be delivered via email in Excel or PDF format. Click here for an introduction to this feature.

• Updates to Personnel Budgeting have been completed to make that part of Martus more user-friendly! Check out this quick walkthrough for an overview of the changes.

• A new report is available on the Planner>Summary Select Report dropdown. The Multi-Year Planner Summary shows information from your default planner budgets across any range of time, regardless of fiscal years. Use this to see budget for a grant or project over 32 months, for example.

• Martus now provides a budget export in a specific format suitable for direct import into MIP Cloud, as part of our integration with MIP Cloud.

• The Pay Item Grid has been updated to better handle overtime hourly pay. To make updates, please be sure to export the new file format first!

• Assigning the Planner Setup permission to non-admin users means they can manage owners and approvers, set targets, and lock worksheets for all worksheets to which they have access. This is an important feature for non-admins with some management responsibilities! The feature has been updated and improved in this release.

• A new feature for everyone who uses reporting groups!! Now, there's a button in Setup>Reporting Groups to "Check Reporting Group Access". Specify the user and reporting group to see whether a user has access to all the elements of that reporting group. If the user doesn't have access, you'll see a list of the accounts and dimension values to which the user does not have permission.
