Martus Subprocessors
Welcome to Martus’ subprocessor repository page, where we maintain a current list of subprocessors authorized to process customer data for Martus’ services.
Martus partners with organizations that, like itself, adhere to global standards and regulations. When selecting subprocessors, in addition to evaluating support for technical requirements, Martus ensures examination of data protection measures, compliance with Martus’ security requirements, reviews security audit reports, and confirms that there is provision for breach notification in the event of data incidents. Martus requires data protection terms with each subprocessor regarding their security controls and compliance with applicable regulations for the protection of personal data. Where a subprocessor is located outside the EU, we ensure that we have adequate transfer mechanisms in place and make an individual assessment of each transfer.
Martus customer data is typically hosted in the customer’s country or region. Australian customers are hosted in Australia, Canadian customers are hosted in Canada, and US customers are hosted in the United States. Martus does not presently have any customers in the EU, but any customers in the EU would be hosted in the EU.
Note: AI-powered features (see Martus and AI) route data to OpenAI in the United States regardless of customer region, as an exception to the geographic hosting described above.
